3⁄4 cup all-purpose flour
3⁄4 cup sugar
1 stick salted butter (softened)
1⁄2 cup cream cheese (softened)
2 eggs
3 tbsp fresh-squeezed lemon juice from Good Life OrganicTM lemons
For glaze:
1 tbsp lemon juice from Good Life OrganicTM Lemons
1⁄2 cup powdered sugar lemon zest
Servings: 9-12
1 Preheat oven to 350°F
2 Line 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper and spray it with cooking spray.
3 Beat cream cheese and butter together. Add in the eggs one at a time. After 4 mixing thoroughly, add in sugar and lemon juice. Mix well.
4 Add flour carefully in batches and mix.
5 When the batter is thick, scoop it into the pan and smooth it to the sides with a spatula. Bake for 20 minutes, and remove from oven. Let it cool for 30 minutes.
6 While brownies are cooking, prepare the lemon glaze by mixing ingredients together.
7 When brownies are done cooking, remove them from the oven and let cool. Pour lemon glaze on cooled brownies right in the pan. Add additional zest on top of glaze to add more color and a lemony zing to the brownies.
