4 Monterey Mushrooms® portabella caps
2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 cup pizza sauce
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
Optional pizza toppings: onions, spinach, olives, bell peppers, pineapple, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, extra cheese
Prep Time: 30 min
Cook Time: 15 min
1 Preheat grill or oven to 375° F.
2 Mix together all ingredients and marinate for 20 minutes.
3 Prepare your favorite pizza toppings. Remove portabella mushroom stems. Lightly brush portabella caps and gills with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Spoon ¼ cup of pizza sauce in each cap and sprinkle with about ½ cup mozzarella cheese. Add toppings of your choice.
4 Grill or bake for about 15 minutes, or until caps are tender.
